Veterans in Need Project
Applications are paused
Our grant fund is empty right now, so we aren't able to take new applications. Here's what we can offer today, and how to hear from us the moment that changes.
Every grant we make comes from donations, and right now that money is spent. The board has paused new awards until the fund is refilled, so we aren't accepting applications today. We'd rather tell you that up front than take your application and leave you waiting on an answer we can't give.
Nothing about this is a judgment on you or your service. When the fund reopens, you're welcome to apply, and we'll be glad to see you.
Help that's available today
- Veterans Crisis Line. Dial 988, then press 1. Call or text, any hour, whatever the crisis is. You do not have to be in danger to use it.
- MyVA411: 800-698-2411. One number for VA benefits, hardship programs, and where to be routed next.
- National Call Center for Homeless Veterans: 877-424-3838. Free, confidential, and for anyone at risk of losing housing, not only those already without it.
- Organizations that may be able to help now. We keep a list of the Arizona and national groups we know and trust on our resources page.
Want us to tell you when we reopen?
Leave your name and email and we'll send you one message, on the day the board reopens awards. That's the only thing we'll ever use it for, and we don't share it with anyone.
You're on the list.
We've emailed you a confirmation. When the board reopens awards, you'll hear from us. There's no need to check back or follow up.
Proud to serve those who've served.
