MARICOPA — What started as a school project has now become a full-fledged organization in Maricopa, serving local veterans and their families.

Veterans In Need Project board members say they look forward to serving more of the Maricopa community’s veterans and their families.

Grayson Price, a former Leading Edge Academy student, started the nonprofit Veterans In Need Project from a class project in early 2021. He worked on it with three other students — and the organization has grown steadily since.
